Meet April
Many people appear strong, capable, and successful on the outside while quietly carrying anxiety, emotional exhaustion, grief, burnout, relationship strain, or major life transitions. April provides a grounded, compassionate space where adults can slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what they have been carrying.
Her goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, strengthen emotional resilience, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and support.
April is especially passionate about working with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, emotional exhaustion, workplace stress, trauma-related concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
My Journey to Counseling
Supporting High-Functioning Adults
April supports adults navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, trauma, and life transitions while balancing work, family, leadership, and daily responsibilities. Her work helps clients feel grounded, supported, and less alone.
She understands that many people who seek therapy are used to being the "strong one," the helper, the leader, or the person others rely on. April creates space for clients to be honest about what they are carrying while receiving practical, compassionate support.
Trauma-Informed Leadership
April supports leaders and organizations through trauma-informed leadership, crisis navigation, emotional wellness, and team culture. She brings experience in high-stakes communication, conflict resolution, organizational change, and resilience-building through coaching, consulting, training, and speaking.
This background gives April a unique understanding of workplace stress, leadership pressure, burnout, emotional fatigue, and the hidden toll of high responsibility.
A Passion for Emotional Resilience
As a counseling intern, April helps adults navigate anxiety, mood concerns, burnout, stress, and emotional exhaustion with practical, compassionate support. She creates a grounded space where clients can slow down, feel understood, identify what feels overwhelming, and begin building tools for greater clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.
