Meet Hadlie
Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, understood, and free to grow. Through play therapy, Hadlie helps children build confidence, express emotions, and develop healthy coping skills while partnering with parents to support lasting growth and healing.
Hadlie believes children often communicate best through play, creativity, and connection. Her goal is to create a space where children can feel accepted and supported while learning tools to better understand themselves, manage big feelings, and navigate life's challenges.
She also values working alongside parents and caregivers, helping families feel supported, encouraged, and equipped as they walk through their child's growth and healing process.
My Journey to Counseling
Supporting Children Through Education Frankie Lemmon School & Development Center
Worked with children with and without disabilities, supporting daily living skills, physical mobility, academic development, social-emotional growth, and creative learning while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary classroom teams.
Mental Health Advocacy
Developed mental health educational video content designed to promote student wellness and collaborated with leadership to create meaningful mental health resources for young people.
A Passion for Play Therapy
My passion for counseling grew through my work with children in educational settings, where I witnessed the power of compassionate relationships in helping young people learn, grow, and overcome challenges. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a career in play therapy, where children can express themselves, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills that last a lifetime.

A Note to Parents
Hadlie understands that when a child is struggling, parents often feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure of what to do next. Her work includes supporting parents as partners in the therapeutic process so families can better understand their child's needs, strengthen connection, and encourage growth outside of sessions.
Parent involvement may include consultation, updates, skill-building, and support around emotional regulation, behavior, communication, and family routines.
