Rediscover Yourself. Create a Life That Feels Like You.

Have you ever looked around and wondered, "How did I end up here?" Maybe you've spent years meeting everyone else's expectations, putting yourself last, or simply feeling disconnected from who you truly are. Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, ADHD, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths, rediscover your identity, and intentionally create a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

Smiling therapist from North Carolina with curly gray hair, glasses, and beige cardigan sits indoors with plants and warm lighting behind her.

"You don't have to become someone else. Together, we'll help you rediscover who you've always been."

J. Michele Blake

Meet Michele

I believe every person has unique strengths, gifts, and potential-even when life makes them difficult to see. My passion is helping people reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been buried beneath stress, self-doubt, responsibilities, or the expectations of others.

Whether you're entering a new season of life, navigating career or relationship changes, embracing your neurodivergence, or simply asking, "What's next for me?" I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where therapy feels like a genuine conversation. Together, we'll build confidence, strengthen emotional resilience, improve relationships, and create practical strategies that help you move forward with purpose and authenticity.

My goal is for every client to leave feeling seen, heard, understood, and empowered to create a life they truly enjoy living.

My Journey to Counseling

Child Development & Family Support

For more than 25 years, I supported children, families, educators, and schools through child development, behavioral intervention, parenting education, and early childhood advocacy. That experience continues to shape the compassionate, strengths-based approach I bring to every client.

Organizational Development & Leadership

My background in organizational development and marketing gave me firsthand insight into leadership, workplace stress, career transitions, communication, and balancing the many roles life asks us to fill. These experiences help me connect with professionals navigating change, burnout, and questions about what's next.

Founder & Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Today, I bring together my experience in child development, leadership, creativity, and counseling to help young adults and adults reconnect with who they are, embrace their strengths, and intentionally create lives that feel authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling. I believe healing isn't about becoming someone different-it's about rediscovering the person you've always been.

My Philosophy

Healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe every person deserves a space where they can be themselves without judgment, explore new possibilities, and leave each session feeling more hopeful, confident, and connected to the life they want to create.
