My Journey to Counseling

Serving Others with Compassion

Long before becoming a therapist, Jena was dedicated to supporting others through church ministry, community outreach, and nonprofit work. These experiences deepened her passion for helping people navigate life's challenges with empathy, encouragement, and practical support, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in counseling.

Serving Others Through Leadership & Community

Before becoming a therapist, Jena spent seven years serving on a church staff, where she worked with college students, led volunteer teams, and coordinated community outreach through a local food pantry. She later continued serving in the nonprofit sector while completing her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, experiences that strengthened her compassion, leadership, and understanding of the challenges people face throughout life's transitions.

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate

Today, Jena combines evidence-based counseling with genuine warmth and encouragement to help teens, adults, couples, and families navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, postpartum concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Her collaborative, trauma-informed approach helps clients build resilience, discover their strengths, and create lasting change with confidence and hope.
