Clear, Flexible Options for Accessing Therapy

We believe understanding the cost of therapy should feel simple and transparent. Coffee Talk Therapy accepts select insurance plans, offers private-pay options, and provides low- to no-cost counseling through supervised graduate interns for qualifying clients. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs may vary based on your specific insurance plan, deductible, copay, and the therapist you choose.

Before beginning services, we encourage clients to review their mental health benefits and confirm coverage directly with their insurance provider. Our team can also help explain available options, session fees, payment policies, and financial responsibilities so you can make an informed decision about your care. A valid payment method is kept securely on file, and payment is due according to your insurance benefits or private-pay agreement.

Our licensed therapists participate with different insurance plans, so coverage may vary by provider. All licensed providers are in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield, while select therapists also accept Cigna and UnitedHealthcare/Optum. Please review each provider’s profile to confirm which plans they accept.

Coffee Talk Therapy is not in-network with Medicare or Medicaid and does not submit claims to these programs. For other out-of-network plans, we may be able to submit claims on your behalf; however, full payment is due at the time of service. Because benefits, deductibles, copays, and reimbursement amounts vary, we recommend contacting your insurance company directly for details about your coverage.

Clients who choose not to use insurance may ask about private-pay rates. We also offer reduced-cost therapy through supervised graduate counseling interns, with sliding-scale options available to help make care more accessible.
